Ever wished you had the chance to study in Europe? A continent rich with a colorful culture and history, that comes with internationally competitive education system. Europe has become one of the most sought after destinations to unlock intellectual potentials to limitless possibilities. With its promise, European's finest universities are giving everyone a chance to not only bear witness, but to experience higher international education at its best. This is the Erasmus Mundus program.

The Erasmus Mundus program started last December 2003, giving students around the world a chance of a lifetime to have international education. The program was named after Desiderius Erasmus, a 15th century scholar and visionary who believed in the promotion of the concept of wisdom towards the mutual understanding between peoples and countries. On the other hand, "Mundus", is Latin for world. This student mobility program has awarded scholarships to around 7000 students from 2004 to 2008. It also offers a vast array of disciplines that students can choose from-agriculture, architecture, engineering, arts, business studies, communication, environmental sciences, health, humanities languages, mathematics and law.

The universities that have become part of this program are the best Europe has to offer. From Spain to Czech Republic, from London to Greece, the program has enveloped the European higher education system that emphatically shows that education is not a luxury but a privilege for all those who yearn to learn and eventually become leaders of their own right in making our world a better place to live.

Erasmus Mundus scholars pursue programs designed to allow them to study in at least two European universities.
