| What is IPAG? The IPAG sprang from the defunct Local Governance Academy (LGA) which in 2006 started offering continuing education in four-modular Executive Course in Local Governance to local government officials and employees in Cagayan de Oro City. Graduates had the option to apply for degrees in Public Administration with major in Local Governance through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) in MUST.
Today, IPAG offers a two-stream program with the same option of getting degrees either in pure public administration, or public administration with major in local governance through ETEEAP. It caters to both national and local government officials and employees in the entire area of Mindanao, as well as, undertakes researches and publication in public administration and governance. To date, it has produced 761 graduates from the executive course.
