• For BPA and BSTCM Score = 60% English +40% Math
• For all degree programs Score = 40% English +60% Math
Computation of Normalized or Standardized Score in Math and English • The raw scores for math and English examinations shall be normalized or standardized as shown below. ? Maximum score for Math =40 ? Maximum score for English =74
2. The Guidance Office through Mrs. Emelinda Martinez, Head, Testing Officer shall do the ranking of applicants following the computations in item 1.2 furthermore, Mrs. Martinez shall provide copies of the List of Applicants (ranked from highest to the lowest) to the following: (a) Deans; (b) Director, RSIS; (c) VPAA; (d) Director, SAWS; and (e) planning and monitoring Office.
3. The number of freshmen students to be admitted to a degree program shall be subjected to the quota set for the said program, which will be identified by the concerned deans. Determination of who shall be admitted will be based on the ranking of the results and the minimum cut-off score of 25%. To illustrate, if the quota is 40 and the number of applicants is 90, the first top 40 applicants based on the ranking shall be admitted to the program provided that no applicant or applicants belonging to the top 40 shall have a score below 25%.
